Launching in Columbus, Nashville, Detroit, Houston, and other key U.S. markets, UTS Local connects entrepreneurs to customers who are eager to shop local, support Black-owned businesses, and strengthen community economies.

Why Supporting Black Local Matters

By choosing Black-Owned local businesses, you’re making a difference. Whether you're a resident, visitor, or entrepreneur, we invite you to explore and support the businesses that make our community thrive!

  • Economic Empowerment
Business ownership fuels job creation, upskills communities, and builds wealth. Successful Black-owned firms are economic anchors, especially in underserved areas.

  • Wealth Building & Intergenerational Impact
Businesses offer a path to accumulate wealth—including assets like real estate or intellectual property—that can be passed down to future generations.

  • Community Resilience & Innovation
Local Black enterprises reinvest in communities, proving more resilient than external firms. They drive culturally informed innovation and economic self-sufficiency.

  • National Prosperity
Narrowing entrepreneurial gaps contributes significantly to overall U.S. GDP, strengthens the labor market, and diversifies economic leadership.

Together We Will Create A 21st-Century "Black Wall Street RE-IMAGINED"

Jackson Ward – Richmond, Virginia, Hayti / Parrish Street – Durham, North Carolina, Bronzeville – Chicago, Illinois, Sweet Auburn – Atlanta, Georgia, West Ninth Street – Little Rock, Arkansas, and Farish Street – Jackson, Mississippi are only a few of the thriving Black Wallstreet type cities in the United States.

These communities shared common characteristics: thriving Black entrepreneurship, strong community infrastructure (banks, theaters, shops), and economic resilience. Unfortunately, many succumbed not to a single violent event like Greenwood, but to structural factors such as segregation policies, disinvestment, urban renewal, and highway development.

Reimagined for TODAY!

In the 21st century, “the street” is no longer bound to a single block or city.
Instead, it’s a national digital marketplace—a living ecosystem online that connects Black-owned businesses with consumers everywhere, powered by technology, media, and AI.

A Black Wall Street Mindset Today means:

  • Online Business Directory as the Marketplace: A centralized hub where Black-owned businesses can be found, listed, and celebrated—not just locally but nationwide.

  • Black-Owned Media as the Amplifier: News, magazines, podcasts, and social platforms amplify stories, spotlight entrepreneurs, and keep dollars circulating within the community.

  • Video Marketing & Social Media as the Front Door: Businesses engage directly with customers through authentic video storytelling, turning visibility into loyalty and sales.

  • AI Tools as the Advantage: From automating content creation to optimizing Google presence, AI closes the gap between small businesses and large corporations.

  • National Networking as the Ecosystem: Entrepreneurs, professionals, and consumers connect virtually, collaborate on projects, share opportunities, and invest in one another’s growth.

The Vision

Imagine an online portal where:

  • A Black-owned coffee roaster in Detroit gains customers from Houston.

  • A Nashville salon uses AI video ads to expand its bookings.

  • A Columbus nonprofit finds partners in New Orleans through the directory.

  • A Baton Rouge entrepreneur joins a national networking event without leaving their city.

  • And every dollar spent recycles into multiple Black-owned businesses across the U.S.

This is Black Wall Street Reimagined: not a single street, but a digital nation of opportunity—where technology turns visibility into viability, and collaboration creates collective wealth.

We’re not just building a directory — we’re creating the digital Black Wall Street of the 21st century, powered by media, video, AI, and a nationwide network of Black-owned businesses.
